Alex and Emma have been an item for more than half a decade, which may imply that the two were in a relationship. Soon, they got married and used to live in a pretty well-equipped apartment in the middle of the city and both of them met in collage. They both had hard jobs; Alex was a software programmer, while Emma was a graphic designer, yet, they managed to find some sort of time for each other. Ryan was a man of dreams who wanted to own his restaurant while Mia was a elementary school teacher who enjoyed painting. The Request
Ever the social butterfly, Emma began up a discussion with Mia on the beautiful latte art. Soon, the two couples were conversing as if they were longtime friends. And to their surprise, they started realizing that they share lot of things in common such as eating, travelling and mostly appreciating art of living As the schedule of their meeting at the café got over, they exchanged their phone numbers and promised to meet again.

Their first flirtation was a double dinner in a new and supposedly exciting restaurant on their third date. Most of the time entertainment was apparent seen by the number of jokes and casual interaction among the participants. Emma and Alex discussed how things have been in college and the Dramas/Comedies in committed relationships. When Mia and Ryan had the engagement, they had a wonderful time making all the preparations for the wedding day.
The reporters did not let a long few months pass before establishing friendly relations with the two couples. During the weekends she took him to exhibitions she thought he would like, experimented in the kitchen with some recipes, cook with Ryan, and travel around the city. Thus, the more the friendship developed, every pair felt supported and was introduced to a need they were not previously conscious of: the need of belongingness.

The Disagreements
Over the course of the film, different challenges come in each couple’s way. Alex and his wife Emma had related challenges facing a new kind of problem which they could not handle, that is, boredom in their marriage. Lack of time and an incredible number of working hours does not allow them to develop their relationships and to find personal space for love and tenderness; they begin to doubt if passion is enough for people.
Mia and Ryan in the meantime were impress with preparing for the wedding. Hitherto happy in their partnership, Patricia and Jimmy had disagreements and confusions owing to the pressure of organizing the perfect day.
One day when they were having one of their several yelling matches she decided to share with Emma her feelings of stress and aggravation. Emma’ bore her ears, listening to her while still being there to comfort her and even provide a shoulder to cry on. On the other hand, Ryan felt relieved just chatting with Alex because, unlike everyone else, he listened to him and was aware of the life’s struggles with work and personal life.
