The Adoration

The picture session
It was time to end school and although the team had no practice, Ellie wanted to capture something on her camera so she went to the soccer field. She looked at practicing Alex playing with the ball, the way he had strived to focus and his flexibility as a sportsperson was better seen when the squad was mid – practice. Alex, who was still tired but recovering, followed her after practice was over.
He chuckled with a typical wink and said, “I owe you, Ellie”
