A Scary Village Episode 4
The Debate
Emma told her pals that there were some mysterious people out there, and the pals agreed to stay up that night to see the strangers.
This is revealed as they sat in the sitting room which was further illuminated by the fire that gave sinister shadows to the whole wall.
This was triggered when the fog thickened in the room and the air grew tense. People began questioning the results when they invested several hours waiting and there was no appearance of ghosts.
They heard the echoes of the whispers once again, just before they did prepare themselves for the night. “What was that? ”Forcing the scream out, Emma breathed, “Do you hear that?” The whispers began to grow louder and the shadowy figures came into view from behind the glass pane.
Once again there seemed to be the shapes of men advancing toward the pals; their forms were shadowy in the fog, and their eyes were hollow with fear. Irate, Jake tried to appear courageous and said, ‘We must confront them. ’ ‘Perhaps we can enquire what the want. ’ They walked out in the open with the wind feeling like shards of ice on their skin, their heart thumping heavily. , the players loomed through the fog toward the end. Only their silhouettes could be distinguished. The door shut, and after a long pause, Emma started her words.
Tell me who you are and what your expect from us. You need to know that the murmur stopped and one of the figures became more distinct. Looking like a young woman, she just looked sad, and as the ghostly voice spoke, I realized why: they wanted justice.
This is a cry of a nation that says our lives were cut short unfairly, and our spirits cannot find peace if our story is not told. The friends were taken aback when the spirit narrated the incidences of the disappearing bare, the rituals and the cursed village.
Earlier they found the spirits as bad spirits but now they realized that the spirits were in perpetual suffering and can not get out of it.

The Decision
The friends decided to dig out the truth and set justice to the killers for the missing villagers because they were committed to help the spirits rest. They caught up with the study the following day at the town library where they gathered information on piecing up the events leading to the Blackwood curse.
They were informed that one of the rich men among them, who owned large pieces of land, had spread the word around that the peasants were cursed because he wanted them off his land due to their prosperity. To include everyone in this gruesome act and ensure that he did not leave any traces of his atrocities, he exterminated the people, after which he buried the corpses and came up with the story of the spirits of the dead seeking revenge.
With this knowledge in mind, the companions gathered all the people and relayed their findings. They called people to focus on those, who had left by having a memorial service in honor of those who have been lost.
The fog cleared and temperature was higher later that evening, times when most of the local residents prayed and lit candles. For the last time, the ghosts came into view as relaxed as they could ever be for beings from the other side. They thanked the friends for helping them find out the truth and try to claim justice.
Once the spirits have been settled at last, the village Blackwood began to recover. With the confidence that they have contributed something to make the society better, the friends’ friendship was rejuvenated as they continued homeward. They also understood that no matter how it all evolved the community could not and would not have its dark past chase after it as the fog crept back in again.
